Christmas Day Attire

For me growing up, Christmas Day was always spent at home in pyjamas not having to be anywhere or do anything.

In recent years, my Aunt has prepared Christmas Dinner for us and this has meant having to actually get dressed on Christmas Day.  The fashionista that is my Grandmother, always gets dressed up in her ‘special’ clothes for such an occasion.

To avoid feeling underdressed, we’ve all started following the trend.

A few weeks ago, I spied a dress on ASOS which caught my eye.  It was totally different from anything I already own from style to colour. I found myself checking it out a few times but kept wondering when I’d ever get the chance to wear such a beautiful dress.  Then ASOS just happened to put on a 50% flash sale – Quick Seach, ASOS Petite Exclusive Maxi Dress – Size 6 – Add to Basket – Proceed to Checkout – Next Day Delivery – Ooooopsie!!

When the dress arrived, I knew it was the one.  I totally fell in love with it.  It couldn’t fit any better (must not gain weight though).  It was perfect for Christmas Day.

I styled the dress with a pair of Carvela Gold Sparkly Heels which I’ve had for at least 2 years and never once wore.  This was the perfect occasion and the main reason why I NEVER get rid of anything.

After a delicious meal, I was forced to change out of the dress into something more comfortable (with an expanding waist) and spent the rest of the evening sprawled out on the sofa.

Perfect Day!
