I’ve got a much needed day off today, in fact I’m off every Friday now until the second week in January. How good is that? I better not get too used to a 4 day working week as in January when it’s miserable enough after all the festivities are over and everyone is skint, I’ll also have the dread of working a FULL week. The struggle will be real. Anyway I’ll worry about that at the time, for now I’ll just enjoy it while I can.
Today’s outfit is made up of some more pieces from my recent shopping spree. I pretty much love everything in the shops right now which isn’t very good for my saving plan. I do like getting new pieces for Autumn/Winter though so I thought I’d allow myself a little splurge.
The jumper is a classic black and white stripe crop fit knit. The high neck detail is lovely and cosy and the thick block stripes are very flattering. It’s a good piece to go with black jeans for casual days but it could also be worn for workwear.
My aviator style jacket from Forever 21 has resurfaced and is very easy to throw on over a simple outfit. I’ll definitely be getting more wear out of this over the next few weeks.
The outfit is finished off with my new Topshop boots. I love them although they do make my feet look very wide and from above they don’t look so flattering. The stud detail is a winner though and they add a little somethin somethin’ to an otherwise basic outfit. They look very expensive as the detail is intricate and they are a very good alternative to the Givenchy ones.
Have a great weekend!
