Good Morning & Hello Friday!

Last week we had a few days of snow, the snow then froze over and the streets were like ice rinks. The snow always looks so picture perfect from the window but when you have to go to work and deal with the chaos a sprinkling of snow creates on the roads and on public transport etc, it’s definitely not as nice as it looks. It’s lovely if you can stay home, drink hot chocolate and enjoy the view from the window but in reality it’s not much fun. Snow days are also a thing of the past. There’s never a chance of getting sent home from work or school.

Anyway, I took these pictures last weekend whilst venturing out to run some errands (post eBay sales) and the light was just beautiful. I think we took 74 photos haha! I’ll probably use about 10 of them but it’s not often the light is on your side so best make of the most of it while it is. On days like this comfy and casual outfits are essential. There’s no need to fuss and spend time deciding what looks best, what shoes match etc. Just put on something warm and comfortable and do what you need to do. A thick cable knit jumper is ideal and black jeans are never a bad idea. Trainers were easy to throw on and a leather jacket adds some style.
