Spring is slowly but surely on the way and I’m looking forward to not wearing as many layers. We’re not quite there yet but I’m already planning outfits in my head and today’s was one of them. A simple white t-shirt, boyfriend style jeans and a jacket – super easy, wearable and comfortable all at the same time.
A good quality white t-shirt is an absolute wardrobe essential. I’ve gone through so many over the years and any time I come across a good quality one, I always snap it up knowing it will be such a worthwhile purchase. This one is from Zara and it’s quite a thick, textured material which is great as it’s a bit warmer than a normal material would be.
The jeans are old from M&S but again, a boyfriend pair are an essential item for the wardrobe for those days when you want to look cool and sassy without much effort. A good, classic pair will last you for such a long time as they are not necessarily something you’ll wear every day or every week therefore you should get a good lifespan out of them. I love the ripped detail and rolling up the hems allows a bit of skin to show which, if you’ve been around for a while will know is something I like.
A grey jacket from Topshop thrown over the shoulders adds to the overall look and my new Fiorelli bag is the perfect cross body for every day wear. The gold detailing also adds some femininity.
The suede boots with the pointed toe help elongate the legs and dress up what is otherwise a very casual outfit.
