Good Morning & Hello Friday,

Today outfit is one of those ones that is not my usual style but I absolutely love it. I picked up this jumpsuit from ASOS last week after deliberating about it while on the website. It’s the kind of thing you need to try on and when I did I was surprised by how much I liked it and how many different ideas I immediately had for wearing it. Today’s outfit combo is one of the first that came to mind and next week I’ll have another.

I mentioned it’s not my usual style, this is due to the jersey material and I associate that with a very casual dress sense. I wasn’t sure if it would be an outfit I’d only wear on a random Sunday when visiting family or to run some errands. I don’t ever like to feel underdressed and when I seen it on the website, I wasn’t convinced it would be something I’d wear on a Saturday afternoon going out for lunch with my friends or to go shopping. Having tried it with different things and gained ideas about different ways to wear it, I actually think it’s perfect for day to day activities and not at all too casual. First of all, the jersey material is SO comfortable. The shade of grey goes with everything and that makes it really easy to style. The tie waist detail allows me to synch my waist in to show off my figure and it’s very flattering. You can also tie in many different ways to create different looks which is great for variety.

On this occasion I’ve worn a simple long sleeve white top underneath for warmth. It’s still absolutely freezing here in Glasgow and layers are essential for keeping cosy. I’ve added my leather jacket as why the hell not? A leather jacket always makes an outfit look super chic. This is my all time favourite from French Connection. The crop style is perfect for my body shape and the quality is amazing. I’ve had it for years and had so much wear out of it yet it still looks great.

My Topshop boots add to the biker chic style I was going for and go perfectly with the jumpsuit.

The quilted bag finishes off the outfit and is a great size for day to day wear.
