Good Morning,

The bank holiday weekend is almost upon us and I can’t wait for it be underway starting with a 3pm finish at work tomorrow then I’ll be heading to the SSE Hydro to see Bruno Mars. I’m literally so excited!! Bruno puts on an amazing show and this will be my 5th time seeing him live although it will be in a much bigger venue than the first time. It’s a great way to kick off the long weekend and hopefully I’ll get a nice long lie on Friday. Anyway I need to get through another day of work before the countdown and fun really begins.

Today’s outfit features two new purchases which I’m in love with. First of all, the white crochet jumper – I feel like it was made for me. I’m all about white lace and I particularly love when I find a really crisp white piece whether that be a shirt for work or a nice blouse for everyday wear. It’s sometimes difficult to get the right shade with lots of ecru or ivory in the shops but very little clean white pieces. Thanks to Laura’s Little Locket for bringing this knit to my attention. I don’t regularly shop at Next although I have found some really nice bits in there previously, it’s not somewhere I look often. The crochet detail, crisp white freshness and beautiful flute sleeves are simply stunning and I couldn’t not buy it. It’s perfect for this time of year and is very easy to wear like I have done today with jeans but it will also be perfect for my upcoming holiday. Think how much better it will look with golden sun kissed skin. I absolutely love it and it will definitely be getting lots of wear over the coming weeks.

Now on to the bag – where do I even start? The colour is beautiful and perfect for Spring/Summer. All my bags are either black, grey or tan as I recently discovered when clearing out. I have one small red bag from Zara but apart from that, my bag collection is completely classic. That was part of my justification for buying this one. I definitely don’t ‘need’ it but it will certainly brighten up my wardrobe and add something new and interesting. It’s clearly a Gucci Dionysus dupe with a slightly different shape of fastening but that’s not why I bought it, I love the shape, size and colour most of all. It will also be perfect for holiday and I’m already planning outfits and thinking about how I’ll style it in the evenings.

Anyway, two new additions to my wardrobe and two pieces I think you’ll be seeing a lot more of.
