Some days you’ve just got to strip it back to basics with a white tee, jeans and a blazer. I often feel inspired to create different looks and put different pieces together but some days I have no enthusiasm whatsoever and that’s when I go for something simple and easy like a t-shirt and jeans.
Having a good basic white tee is essential for every wardrobe. It comes in so handy and you can pretty much wear it with anything whether it’s a pretty skirt, high waist shorts or a crazy pair of patterned trousers. It always looks classic and chic and that’s what I love most about it. It’s the easiest thing to style, so easy to wear and yet it looks great too.
I always get a few new white tops before I go on holiday as I love wearing white with sun-kissed skin and they are perfect for travelling too. I’ve also ordered a blazer from Zara which is so far from my normal style but I bought it with the intention of wearing a white t-shirt underneath as the blazer very much speaks for itself and doesn’t need anything fussy or fancy worn underneath. I want all the focus to be on the blazer (if I like it) and a plain white tee is the perfect accompaniment. Watch this space…
I’ve worn with a classic double breasted Topshop Blazer, high waist jeans and a pair of eye catching heels. You’ll have seen these on the blog before, they are one of my most favourite pair of shoes ever and I never tire of them. My Zara bag holds all my essentials including my phone, purse and keys. P.s I finally got a new phone! My old one was dying, it was going so slow and it took an age for Instagram to open. The camera quality was also pretty shocking so I’m delighted to have a new one and I no longer have to rely on my camera anytime I want to take a half decent picture.
