Good Morning & Happy Bank Holiday Monday!
I do love a bank holiday and I relish in not having to set an alarm on a Sunday night. Being able to wake up naturally which for me is usually early anyway, is always better than being disturbed by the dreaded sound of an alarm. It’s the small and simple things like not setting an alarm that feel the most indulgent. This is the last bank holiday I’ll get for a while so I’m going to enjoy every second.
While I was on holiday, my friend text me a picture of this top and I immediately hit purchase and scheduled delivery for the day of my return. I knew I had to have it, there was no time for second thoughts. Not only does it have a french slogan and Parisian vibes with the red detail, it’s also very Gucci-esque but not in a ‘clearly this is an exact replica’ kind of way. At £15 it’s the perfect top for day to day wear and I shot these photos on my way to a shopping trip to pick up some birthday gifts for my friend. Perfect outfit for that occasion, comfortable and casual but chic and classy too.
A pair of ripped jeans are the perfect accompaniment to the top and white high top trainers are essential for a long day of shopping which turned out to be unsuccessful when it came to gift-buying but successful in buying things I don’t really need for myself. Anyone else do that? I’m terrible for it.
The trainers are new in from Shoeaholics. I spotted them whilst browsing for sandals for holiday and at £14.99 (bargain) I thought they’d be handy for running errands and throwing on for casual days. I’m not a big trainer wearer but actually these are great as the canvas design is really breathable and comfortable and the clean white with slightly grey toe cap detail easily goes with everything whether it’s denim shorts, jeans, a nice skirt or a dress. They also have them in grey which I might need to get as let’s face it, these ones won’t stay white for long…
