I’m back from a wonderful trip to Paris to celebrate my birthday. I had such a lovely weekend and was overwhelmed when I came home to the generosity of my family and friends with the gifts I received. I wasn’t looking forward to turning another year older but it was made all the better by the good memories I made in Paris and the extreme kindness of my nearest and dearest.
While I sort out the photos from my trip, I’ve got a few outfits to share in the meantime. You’ll have seen this skirt recently but it’s really easy to style and is a good Autumn wardrobe staple therefore I decided to put together another look for the blog.
The black and white zebra print is classic and doesn’t have the garish and sometimes dated feel of other animal print designs. The a-line shape is flattering on the figure and the length is just right, not too short but not too long either. On this occasion, I’ve paired with a chunky knit with lovely bell sleeves that add flare and finesse. The crisp and clean light colour works perfectly with the skirt and the look overall feels very fresh.
I’ve paired with ankle boots which is a signature Autumnal look. These boots literally go with everything and I’ve had so much wear out of them. My little quilted cross body bags holds my purse, phone and keys which are the most important things.
