If you follow along on Instagram you might have seen what I bought on Black Friday this year. Along with gifts for friends and family, I treated myself to a new bag and a lovely pair of boots. It was too good an opportunity to refuse especially I’ve been looking for a pair of knee high boots for years and they were only £59 which is probably the best Black Friday bargain I’ve got to date.
After I posted what I bought on stories I had a lot of messages from friends and followers who were also interested in the boots & this confirmed I’d made a great choice. My friend also messaged me asking if I would mind if she bought the boots as well and I instantly replied saying I had absolutely no problem with this. It was only a bit later on when I wondered why she was asking my permission. She said she didn’t want to copy me without asking first. This caught me off guard as the reason I shared what I’d bought was because I loved the product, it was a great deal & I wanted to share so that anyone else who might have been looking for something similar could benefit from coming across the product which they might not have otherwise. I’ve never been the kind of person to not want anyone else to buy something I’ve bought. I’m the total opposite in fact. I send my friends links to things I think they’ll also like or share discount codes or deals, again that they might not have known about otherwise. I don’t share my food but I’m happy to share advice, deals, clothing or accessories.
In reality, it isn’t going to make any difference, we’re highly unlikely to ever wear the same clothes or bag or shoes at the same time plus everyone has their own individual style therefore how I choose to style these particular boots is completely different to how my friend or someone else would, probably to the point we could be both wearing them at the same time without anyone noticing.
Anyway it’s safe to say I’m absolutely in love with my new boots. They are super sleek and chic and go with dresses, skirts or simply a pair of jeans. They are the perfect addition to my wardrobe & I’m sure you’ll be seeing a lot more of them over the coming weeks, months and years.
