Abu Dhabi

I will try to get back to my usual outfit posts soon, being without my camera has made it difficult to blog daily.

Until then, another travel related post.

Back in March when I was visiting friends in Dubai, we decided to take a day trip to Abu Dhabi.

We took the bus from Dubai and two hours later we arrived in glorious Abu Dhabi.

First, we went straight to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

We were given these beautiful abayahs to wear – very flattering obv!

We paused for a snack

Then headed over to the Corniche

We had a lovely lunch and much needed cool down.

We finished the day with a walk along the promenade, watching the sunset.

Perfect day with perfect company!

I would definitely recommend a visit to Abu Dhabi.  It was beautiful and much more laid back and relaxed than the hustle and bustle of Dubai.
