If you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat you will have noticed I jetted off on a very last minute holiday. I booked the trip on Thursday 19th May and travelled on Friday 20th May. It’s definitely the most impulsive thing I’ve ever done and it could have either been a massive success or a complete disaster. Luckily it turned out to be one of the best holiday’s I’ve ever had and was exactly what I needed.

I’ve been to Salou a few times before but I think it’s been around 10 years since I’ve been to Spain. I’ve been travelling a bit more further afield in recent years however with the current situation in the North Africa region and with it being such a last minute trip, we decided to stay closer to home. The two hour flight time was really refreshing and we arrived ready and raring to go.

Salou is a really charming town and there is so much to do. The laid back way of life and chilled atmosphere was also right up my street. The pictures above and below are from Sunday night. The evening started with a 3 course traditional Spanish Tapas feast. We needed the long walk afterwards to walk it off…
