Good Morning & Happy Friday!
Following on from my post last week about what to wear when it’s scorchio, this is another outfit which is perfect for the mini heat waves we get here in Scotland. The light material is great for keeping cool yet the jumpsuit can be dressed up for a variety of occasions i.e. christenings, family BBQ’s, engagement parties, a night out with the girls – the list is endless. I don’t usually like floral patterns and I very rarely wear pink but the detail is such high quality and it’s good to change up your usual style once in a while. I’ve had this jumpsuit for a few years now however I always struggled deciding what shoes to wear with it as and as a result it remained in the closet on the hanger. Now that I’ve got my favourite ‘go with everything’ new grey faux suede shoes from New Look, I can wear it with pride. Jumpsuits are so easy to throw on however this one being a little bit long on the leg, it can easily drown my petite frame. I decided to add a thin belt and fold the material over the top to add more shape and to lift the leg length slightly. I like to show a little bit of skin in the ankle area before the trousers meet the shoes. I don’t know why I just think it looks better than if the trousers actually meet the shoe and it probably helps elongate the leg which is never a bad thing.
