It’s nice to start the year with some new fresh items of clothing particularly for work. I feel like I’ve been rotating the same outfits over and over for the last few months and I’m tired of them. I’ve found some pieces in my wardrobe which either haven’t been worn for a while or haven’t been worn at all. I’m going to start incorporating them into my work outfits to change things up but I have also picked up a few new things which will completely refresh my work wardrobe.
This culotte jumpsuit is a welcome addition to my collection. I had some time to kill before an appointment in Glasgow and popped into Primark to pass the time. I’m not a big fan of Primark and the general layout and untidiness of the shop is enough to put me off never mind the quality of the clothing which is sometimes hit or miss. However, when I entered the store early in the morning I found it to be very tidy and organised which immediately put me at ease. Within a few minutes I had picked up 3 items and was headed for the checkout hardly able to believe what I’d found.
This jumpsuit is the perfect ribbed jersey material which hugs your curves and flows nicely to flatter the figure. At £5 – yes that’s five pounds – I can’t believe the quality. It’s beautiful and I know I will get good wear out of it – hopefully before it disintegrates haha! I kind of wish I had bought two or three now. As it’s quite low cut, I popped a thin vest underneath to protect my modesty but it’s going to be perfect for work. I never thought I would suit culottes but I can’t believe how flattering they are. I’ve paired with a new-ish pair of shoes from Zara. The burgundy/plum colour goes perfectly with grey and conveniently the bag I received for my birthday is also grey and plum. Such a perfect match. I like how high the ankle strap of the shoe is as it works well with the length of the culottes.
All in all a lovely new outfit for work and maybe this will give you an idea for how to wear items of clothing that might be lurking in your wardrobe unworn.
