Good Morning,
I’m so glad to have reached Friday. I’ve struggled through this week after a trip to London with work on Tuesday. The 18 hour day killed me and as it was early in the week, it’s literally taken all my energy to get to this point. As you can probably tell I get quite grumpy when I’m tired so I’m looking forward to the weekend to recharge my batteries.
Anyway on to the outfit. The chilly temperatures call for lots of cosy knitwear around this time of year. I haven’t been leaving the house recently without a hundred layers on, so much so I was actually too hot when I went to see Paolo Nutini in Edinburgh as I had wrapped up too much. There’s a first time for everything and as someone who is cold 99.9% of the time, it was good to actually feel ok instead of freezing cold and numb. Always better to be too hot than too cold in my opinion.
I’ve had this jumper for a few years now. I actually bought it in Dubai and I love the rugged-ness of it with the zippers and chunky knit detailing. It’s a great shade of grey and pretty much goes with everything. It can be dressed down with trainers for casual days or dressed up with heels for a more put together look. It’s also good for layering with a shearling biker jacket or an oversized leather jacket over the top. Either way it still looks chic and will keep you nice and cosy.
