Good Morning,

I’m keeping cosy today in my favourite shearling jacket. Some days that’s just what you need to do and style has to take a back seat although this jacket is pretty luxurious so it’s not too bad. I’m getting as much wear out of it as possible before the temperatures rise and it becomes too warm to wear it although let’s face it, in Scotland it’s never really that hot.

Anyway I’ve paired with my high neck striped bodysuit from M&S and high waist jeans from Topshop. I really don’t know what I did before discovering high waist jeans, they are literally my saviour. All my other mid and low rise jeans hardly get any wear nowadays as they are just not as flatting as the high waist styles.

I’m going to be so sad when these boots are done and I can no longer wear them as they have been my favourites for the best part of 2 years now. Such a great purchase and so comfortable too. I’m glad I bought two pairs as the first pair got damaged and although I would’ve carried on wearing them, they certainly wouldn’t have lasted until now.

I also bought two of these mango quilted cross body bags and I haven’t yet taken the second one out of the packaging. This one is getting pretty done now and I should move on to the new one but I feel it might have a little bit more life in it yet.

If you really like something and it’s a classic piece, not a trend item, my advice would always be to buy two. I do it a lot as you probably know and although it might seem like unnecessary excess, it’s so worth it when the first one is done and you can bust out a brand spanking new one.
