Hellooooo Friday & Happy St Patricks Day!

How good does it feel when you pull together a new & fresh outfit from existing pieces in your wardrobe? Ahh I love it and I’ve managed to do it twice this week. I’ve had this combo in mind for a while but never got round to putting it together until now.

You would have seen the jumper in recent posts, an absolute bargain buy from M&S and a lovely piece to have in my wardrobe. It’s perfect for the Winter to Spring transition. Warm and cosy enough yet still feminine and chic. The crop fit is just the right length to with this skirt. The split hem works really well and sits over the skirt nicely.

The skirt was a sale buy from Zara a few years ago. It’s not my usual style but there was something about it which I really liked. Obviously the monochrome black and white is right up my street and in line with what I’ve been wearing recently. The shape is also flattering and the pocket detail at the front is quite cool. I like the boots with the skirt and it’s the perfect combination for this time of year. The high ankle ‘sock like’ detail of the boots elongates the leg. I’m so glad I bought these boots even though they are a size too big, I always just wear a thick pair of socks and they’re fine. The things we do for fashion…
