Good Morning & Happy Friday!
I immediately purchased this top as soon as I lay eyes on it. I love slogan tees and especially when it’s fun and cheeky like this one. It’s rather oversized but I don’t mind, it’s good to have a slightly slouchy tee to wear on those days when I don’t feel like wearing something tight or fitted. It’s from Mango via ASOS and at £9.99 it’s perfect for short term wear which I anticipate will be the case although it’ll probably get some wear on holiday. Being oversized it will be easy to throw on over a bikini to go for lunch or with shorts for travelling back and forth to the room.
On this occasion I’ve worn with my favourite shabby chic cardigan from Zara. I was actually freezing while taking these pictures, it wasn’t warm enough for a cardigan with holes haha! I’m also trying to wear more colour but I find the weather really effects my colour palette and on this particular day it was cold, windy with lots of April showers and I went straight back to my monochrome comfort zone. Now looking back at the pictures I’m annoyed as I always wear black and white and sometimes it can be pretty boring. Anyway I guess the t-shirt started the outfit and the black and white vibes just continued from there.
I also need to try and find some more inspiring locations to take my pictures as I’ve been using this spot for a while now when it’s raining as it’s undercover but it’s really industrial looking and not exactly a picture perfect backdrop. I want the focus to be on the outfit and what I’m wearing so sometimes I don’t worry too much about the background but other times it bothers me so I’ll try and find more pleasant backdrops over the next few weeks. If it would just stay dry that would make it much easier but hey, I live in Glasgow so can’t really rely on the weather.
