Good Morning,
I don’t normally post on a Tuesday however I’ve got three posts in a row this week before I jet off to a sunnier climate although I have to say, the weather has been pretty spectacular here in Scotland for the last week – 10 days. Wi-Fi can’t be guaranteed whilst I’m away therefore instead of posting on Mon, Wed & Fri, I’m publishing Mon, Tues & Wed so be sure to check back tomorrow as well to see my travel outfit.
Anyway before that, today’s post is all about an interior update particularly when it comes to wall art. I was looking to update my bedroom without having to fully decorate and getting some new prints and wall art is the perfect way to instantly change a room with minimal effort. I’m a huge fan of quotes and I have loads of t-shirts with well known slogans. Now I have some of my favourite quotes my walls to keep me inspired thanks to Desenio. If you haven’t heard of them, where have you been? They have the chicest prints and posters for upgrading your wall space or to create a gallery wall which is very much the ‘in’ thing at the moment. They even have a guide on how to create a gallery wall as trust me, it isn’t as easy as it looks. I hope to create a bigger one when I have my own place but for now I have scattered some of my new prints around the space I have.
My favourite is definitely the stack of fashion books. It’s super chic and I love the hand drawn style. I obviously had to get the what would Beyonce do print as I pretty much think that every single day. When I’m in the gym running on the treadmill wanting to give up, that’s always in the forefront of my mind.
I love the Rachel Zoe quote and that’s something I’ve always insisted. How you present yourself is so important and not for how it appeals to other people, it’s a way of expressing yourself without having to say a word. First impressions count, like it or not it’s true and we all judge others whether it be consciously or subconsciously. When I spotted that print I knew I had to get it.
Desenio have posters starting from as little as £2.95 which is amazing. You can easily transform a room with a few new prints whilst keeping the costs down. Best of all – I’ve got a 25% discount code to share with you. Enter code PETITEPAULINA at the checkout to get 25% off posters (excluding frames and handpicked) from 9th – 11th May.
Be sure to check out the new in section regularly as they are constantly updating it with the latest arrivals. Since I placed my order last week, there’s already 3 or 4 other prints I’ve got my eye on, I just need more wall space…
xo!
