Good Day,
A few weeks ago I styled this playsuit for a daytime look. Today, with only two subtle changes I’ve transformed it to an evening look.
It’s a flattering, fun and flirty playsuit which lends itself well to transitioning from day to evening. The low, v neck shows some cleavage and the tie allows you to clinch in to show your waist which also helps create shape. The white base with the black zodiac pattern is really classic and makes it easy to style as it will pretty much go with anything.
For the evening look, I’ve dressed with my signature leather jacket for that effortless vibe. It also adds warmth and given that we’re now half way through September, that’s something we need to consider now as Autumn approaches.
My ASOS ‘sock’ style boots which I’ve been wearing for about 18 months now, are the perfect match as they come up a little higher on the ankle which really helps if you’re petite. It creates length and also flatters the legs giving a nice silhouette. Sock boots are bang on trend at the moment. I was obviously wayyyy ahead of everyone…
I tried to pick up a new pair of boots similar to these ones as they are pretty done now but unfortunately I’ve been unable to get the right balance of material, style and shape. I’ll keep searching, I’m sure the right pair are out there.
Boots are actually ideal for an evening outfit. They are really comfortable, give coverage (no stiletto heels falling down cracks in the pavement or slipping on cobble stones) and they look really chic. It’s almost that ‘I got ready in 5 minutes’ vibe which I always think looks cool.
