Red or Dead?

Good Morning,

I mentioned in a previous post about purchasing two bags on my birthday. They were both from the Kensington collection at Kurt Geiger and I bought them with the aim of returning one. Of course I loved them both and then had a difficult time deciding which one was the keeper. The red one absolutely stole my heart and since I don’t have any other red bags, I decided she was the one.

Red goes perfectly with navy, black, white or grey which are the colours I wear the most. Being able to instantly make an outfit pop by adding this bag is incredible and I feel like my wardrobe just got more exciting by adding one key piece.

On her first outing, I paired with a new crisp white blouse from Monsoon. They do really high quality shirts and blouses and before my trip to Paris I decided to treat myself to one. The high neck is great for winter and with a vest layered underneath, I can stay warm whilst still looking sharp. The v-shape detail with the frills is very flattering and creates the illusion of a smaller waist, drawing the eyes down. Every single element has been carefully created with a natural women in mind which I absolutely love. It’s 100% cotton which is amazing as it’s completely breathable and doesn’t irritate your skin particularly in the neck area in the way some other cheaper fabrics could.

High waist jeans are the perfect pairing especially as they come up at just the right place, meeting the point of the triangle design of the blouse. A pair of black ankle boots are sleek and classy and go perfectly with the bag.
