I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas surrounded by family, friends and good food of course. I always love this time of year but I particularly enjoyed it this year as my one year old nieces are at a stage where although they don’t understand it yet, they were able to get involved and were super excited about all the gifts they got which was so much fun.
Now it’s time to enjoy these strange days between Christmas and New Year when things slow down after all the festive madness in the run up to the big day and we take stock of what has happened in the last year and look forward to the year ahead.
2018 is going to be pretty special.
Before that and while I’m slumped on the sofa mid-food coma, I’m putting together the last of my holiday outfit posts.
This dress is about as boho as it gets for me. I do often like a lot of the dresses I see in this particular style but never feel they truly suit me. I picked this one up from Topshop sale earlier in the summer knowing it would be perfect for my winter sun getaway. Getting it in the sale was an opportunity to try it out without being out of pocket if it didn’t suit. The soft white with the colourful embroidered detail is beautiful and elegant. The mix of colours works well and means it’ll go with whatever you’re wearing. The bandeau style with elastic is ideal as it’s easy to get on and off and goes well with most of my bikinis. The material is lovely and light and comes in at the waist, creating shape. The pointed edge detail is flattering drawing the eyes down, elongating the legs.
This is the perfect cover up for beach days or relaxing by the pool. Throw on to stroll to the bar for a refreshing drink or to head for lunch. You feel totally fabulous within a second of putting on.
