Good Morning,
I’m so relieved it’s Friday. What a week! The stress of getting the Beyonce & Jay-Z tickets on Monday morning (thanks for that) which ended up not being stressful at all but it’s all the build up and anticipation. Thankfully it all went to plan. I got tickets to see Jessie Ware last minute on Tuesday so that was a late night. Then I was in London yesterday for work and the 4am start and long day was an absolute killer. I’m working from home today and tonight I’m off to see Sam Smith. I can’t wait to hear his voice live again. It’s almost 3 years to the day when I last saw him so I’m really looking forward to it and a night out with my girls is exactly what’s needed after a hectic week.
I’m sharing an outfit that I might wear to the concert tonight, I haven’t quite decided yet. I have been searching for a neutral coloured bodysuit for a while. Miss Selfridge had one that I really wanted but it sold out ages ago and never came back so I’ve been on the hunt for something similar since. I spotted this one on River Island and ordered immediately even though it wasn’t 100% the style I was after. The low V neck is not my usual style and I wasn’t sure if I’d like it on or if the darker shade of beige would compliment my skin tone. I was pleasantly surprised and I love the large buttons. They’re really statement and add some much needed detail.
On this occasion I’ve paired with my suede trousers featured earlier in the week in a different way. I love the high waist as it really elongates the legs. I also like the contrast of textures between the suede and the smoothness of the bodysuit albeit with the ribbed detail. The darker tones on the buttons work well with the black trousers and tie everything together.
A quilted bag holds everything I need and the gold chain adds a luxurious feel.
Have a great weekend!
