I’ve become the biggest fan of pink all of a sudden and I seem to be picking up different shades and styles of garments and building up a very pastel wardrobe just in time for Spring.
I spotted this top on ASOS but it’s by Bershka which I love. Unfortunately we don’t have any stores here in the UK. I love the ribbed style and combination of pink, white and red stripes creating a nice contrast but equally flattering as horizontal stripes tend to be. The chunky buttons with the open sleeve detail is my favourite part and it works really well to pair the light pink with darker colours such as black. The material is so soft and comfortable. It’s the perfect thickness for this time of year, just warm enough but not too much.
I’ve paired with my high waist suede leggings which work well with the stripes and are a great alternative to jeans. These are easily the most comfortable trousers I own. It’s like wearing velour joggers but without the WAG tag and toe curling texture.
To contrast the soft textures, I’ve paired with my trusty Zara bag with the leather croc effect. The chunky chain works well adding some edge and the bag is the perfect size for everyday wear.
