We’ve had a few days now where it feels more like Spring, has winter finally gone into hibernation? We can never be sure but I do hope the situation improves as it’s been a long hard slog and if I didn’t have a few trips lined up I think I’d be feeling pretty low.
I’ve also been toying with the idea of getting some blonde highlights in my hair for summer. I don’t want to do it now as we’re only just stepping out of winter and I know it’ll look better closer to summer with a nice tan and hopefully some much needed sunshine. I’m so risk averse and I’m terrified of it not looking the way I envisage so it’ll probably take me ages to decide whether to go through with it although I do feel I’m ready for a bit of a change with my hair. It’s been the same for so long now and could do with a fresh new look.
Anyway something I have been taking risks on lately is my colour palette. More and more pink is filing my wardrobe and less grey. Another thing I’m stocking up on is hats. I never thought I suited hats before but I’m warming up to them now although hopefully with the temperatures warming up slightly, hats won’t be needed for much longer. Fingers crossed anyway.
I’ve paired my pink stripe top from Bershka with my suede trousers which are getting plenty of wear. The high waist works perfectly, elongating my legs and matching with the stripes on the top. My pink coat is a great match and helps keep warm. My little mini Kensington bag is subtle and is the perfect match for the rest of the outfit.
