Good Morning,
I’m continuing with two posts per week at the moment as I’ve not had a chance to create enough content for the usual three posts. Rather than force myself to take more pics and sacrifice time I don’t really have, I’ve accepted that two posts per week is still enough content and quality is far more important than quantity.
Anyway on to the outfit of the day. The cost per wear for this coat is already so low given the fact it was £29.99 and I’ve hardly had it off since I got it. It’s the perfect Spring coat, not too thick or structured allowing it to be thrown on over a variety of outfits but still elegant and sleek which is always a winning combo. I wasn’t sure a baby pink coat would go with so many different looks but it’s actually really versatile and I’ve been surprised by the amount of wear I’ve been able to get out of it especially as I’m still wearing a lot of black despite it being mid April. I’m fed up talking about the weather but that’s a reflection of the fact it’s been the longest winter ever and we seem to be skipping Spring altogether. I really hope we get a good summer to make up for it as it really does have an impact.
I’ve thrown the coat over my cream knit jumper that I picked up in Milan. This colour combo reminds me of strawberries & cream which is one my favourite treats. The jumper is such a lovely material I could probably wear it all year round. It’s soft and textured but not too warm or itchy like a lot of low price knitwear. I’ve paired with my suede leggings, recent fav of course. These are really warm I don’t think I’ll get much more wear out of them but they’ll be ideal come Autumn.
Unfortunately boots are still a necessity. I don’t know when we’ll be getting the sandals and summer heels out, it’s still not appropriate but in the meantime I’m on the search for a nice pair of wedge sandals for holidays and some other heels for day to day wear if and when the weather situation improves.
