Summer Refresh

Good Morning,

I often talk about refreshing my wardrobe for each season with new pieces but another thing I love to do is refresh my home with slight and subtle changes. Getting new bedding is one of my all time favourite ways to freshen things up and getting excited about that makes me realise I’m getting old haha!

Another easy way to lighten up a room or make a small change without actually having to do much is by investing in some new prints. I absolutely love artwork and my walls are scattered with inspiring or motivational quotes, Paris or the Eiffel Tower and pictures that bring back good memories.

Desenio always have the best prints especially when it comes to the Parisian style I love. I got some of their prints last year but mainly went for small, A4 sizes. This time I decided to go big and selected 3 large prints that I feel are so typically me. I actually think if I asked my friends to search the website and choose 3 prints that they think I would love, they would choose 2 out of these 3 without a shadow of doubt.

First of all can we talk about how beautiful the girl in the window poster is. She’s looking out over the Arc de Triomphe and I feel like that’s me every single time I visit Paris. The fact it’s black and white is also quite dramatic and catches your eye.

The Trocadero poster with the balloons was my second favourite and I don’t think it needs any explanation. I can imagine if I tried to recreate this photo on my next trip to Paris it wouldn’t quite turn out like this.

Lastly, to break up the images I decided to go for the Coco poster. There’s nothing more classically French than Coco Chanel and having this on the wall is a little reminder of that each day.

If you’re planning an interior update anytime soon then I have a discount code to share for Desenio. The code “petitepaulina25” gives 25% off posters between June 26th and 28th except for frames and handpicked/collaboration posters.

This post is in collaboration with Desenio but all opinions are my own.

xo!
