Good Morning,
I don’t know about you but I’ve found it difficult to dress appropriately in the sweltering temperatures of late. On the one hand it’s the perfect opportunity to showcase all your favourite summer outfits but on the other it’s different when you’re on holiday, chilling by the pool and not doing normal everyday things like going to work for example. It’s also getting the balance right of staying cool and wearing as little layers as possible and not showing too much skin especially in the workplace.
Outside of work, I’ve been gravitating towards one piece ensembles where possible to make life easy. Playsuits are particularly good for keeping cool especially the bardot styles but jumpsuits are also useful especially for night time when the temperature drops and it gets a tiny bit cooler. I spotted this one from Topshop and couldn’t resist. Of course the polka print instantly caught my eye but the bandeau style with the shirred detail is another favourite, avoiding any strap marks if I do catch some sun. The wide legs are flattering and a contrast against the fitted top.
I love the predominant white with the black dots, it’s clean and fresh for summer. Often polka designs are the opposite way around and I do love them anyway but it’s nice to have it the other way around especially at this time of year with a nice sun-kissed glow.
I know this jumpsuit will be perfect for Mexico and it’s a really easy option to throw on in the evening to go for dinner without any fuss or decision (dilemma) to be made about what to wear. It’s great to get some wear out of it ahead of holiday though and hopefully the good weather will continue on my return and I can further reduce the cost per wear although at £29 it’s really good value regardless.
