Good Morning & Happy Friday!
As much as I’m delighted it’s the weekend it’s not the best Friday for me as my work colleague leaves today and I actually don’t know what I’m going to do without him. I’m not worried about the work, that will take care of itself but I will miss having my partner in crime there every day. The rest of my team are based across the UK so it’s going to be a bit of adjustment being the only one left in Scotland. Anyway I’ll worry about it when I get back from Mexico as it’s not something worth getting stressed about right now and my holiday will be the perfect distraction.
Anyway before Mexico which I’ve been going on about for a while now, I have another summer outfit to share. Last Saturday I had a list of errands to run which included returns, shopping (for myself and gifts for others) and ordering our new sofa. Afterwards we celebrated my cousin graduating with cake in the sun. It was quite a busy day but a good one and I pulled this jumpsuit out of my suitcase as I knew it would be perfect, comfortable and chic too.
It’s another old Whistles purchase which has seen me well. I really need to start buying premium high street again as its worth paying a little bit more for that luxury feel, gorgeous prints & designs and long lasting quality. I love the mix of grey and pink, it’s a great match and blends well together.
The jumpsuit is a bit long for my petite frame but to combat that I’ve synched in with a belt around the waist then pulled the material over to cover and create a nice shape.
I’ve paired with nude accessories as I’ve previously worn with grey and wanted to go for something different although you’ll have seen the bag and shoes quite frequently over the last few weeks. Nude accessories lend themselves to going well with everything which results in regular wear. The shoes don’t look that comfortable but they actually are and apart from the shape being imprinted on my feet after I take them off, they are a firm favourite so much so I’ve been looking at getting them in another colour.
Have a great weekend!
