Pattern Trousers

Good Morning,

I’m finally back to normal outfits after two weeks of solid Mexico posts. I still have some content to share but I’ll save it for another time.

Today’s outfit is actually my travel outfit for going to Mexico. I wore trainers instead of the wedges as I always strive to make airport security as painless and straightforward as possible. No belts, limited jewellery and flat shoes are just a few of my top tips to having a stress free experience.

The trousers are perfect for travelling. The material is really light and floaty but they give good coverage and the pattern is great for adding a bit of detail to an otherwise simple travel outfit. It also helps hide any spills which might not be an issue for some but I seem to have a special talent in dribbling food or drinks down me. Especially when wearing white.

The jumper arrived just before my trip and I was surprised by the quality. It’s a really thick knit and compared to the price point (£20) the quality is great. It doesn’t feel itchy or cheap at all. It was perfect for the airplane as I’m always freezing cold and it was nice and snuggly.

Since coming home the weather has been a bit dull. It’s not cold but it’s not anywhere near as hot as it has been for a while and certainly not as hot as the temperatures in the South of the UK. I thought we still had some time before we’d be busting out the knitwear but unfortunately not.

I’m heading to Paris in a few weeks and I’ve got a feeling this will be an easy outfit to wear during the day while exploring. I can always substitute the jumper for something lighter if it’s too warm which will hopefully be the case. I love Paris any time of year but it’s extra special in summer.
