Comfy Outfit

Good Morning,

One of the perks of being petite is being able to buy clothes from the kids department. Not only can you get the latest trends and styles at bargain prices but you can also get the right fit. If I was to buy this exact kind of look from the women’s section, it would definitely be too big and slouchy in all the wrong places.

It’s not the kind of thing I would wear on a regular basis but last Friday I booked a spa day for my mum and I and I always have a bit of a dilemma about what to wear especially when going somewhere quite upmarket/plush. At the end of the day I’m going to be changing straight out of whatever I’m wearing and into my swimsuit so it really doesn’t matter but depending on what you plan to do afterwards or if you have a lunch or afternoon tea booked, sometimes you do need to consider the formality of the venue and dress accordingly.

I didn’t have any specific plans for afterwards on Friday (I actually came home & napped for 3 hours) so went for this very comfortable and casual look that I could easily get in and out of. This co-ord set is from Zara kids department and is a combination of loungewear meets streetwear. The red stripe detail at the neck adds a nice touch and cuts through the grey ensemble. Although it’s a jersey grey two piece, the ribbed detail makes it a little less casual.

I used a different bag to carry everything I needed but I think the red bag helps dress it up along with the trainers.

I’ve also worn this set whilst working from home when there’s always the challenge of wanting to be comfortable but still be motivated and productive which isn’t always the case when lounging in pyjamas all day so this is the ideal option as you get the best of both.
