The pink playsuit I wore in Paris is definitely my favourite outfit of all time. I absolutely love the outfit, the surroundings and the overall mood of the photos. I feel like it’s some of my best work to date, a complete expression of me and my personality and sometimes you’ve got to take a step back and appreciate that for a second.
I knew I wanted to keep wearing the playsuit through Autumn and thought of all the different ways I could style. In my previous post I talked about not getting the matching jacket as I didn’t think I’d get much wear of it or wear the jacket and playsuit together much as it’s quite a formal look. The jacket was originally £69.99 however last week I noticed it had gone into the ‘special prices’ section of Zara. Well of course I went and bought it there and then as at £25.99 it’s an absolute steal and I knew the quality would be good from the quality of the playsuit.
It is quite a formal jacket but there’s something so special about it. Now that I’ve tried it on, I know I’ll wear it with jeans or a skirt and not necessarily with the playsuit every time however when I have a special occasion I will certainly wear them together. Maybe for my mum or grans birthday if we go for lunch or dinner. My gran will love it, it’s similar in style to what she would have worn when she was my age and seeing me go through the same phases always makes her reminisce.
Tweed is such a classic fabric and I love that each pattern is different. From afar, the jacket and playsuit look very pink but up close you’ll notice the red, black and blue threads which together give such an intricate weave and perfectly compliment each other.
The silver chain detail and black and gold buttons add to the luxury look of what is actually a very affordable, high street outfit. From the minute I bought my Louis in Paris, I wanted to wear them with this outfit and I’m happy I’ve been able to before it gets too cold.
