Good Morning,
I recently shared a post on my top 3 trends for Autumn and animal print was one of the three I choose. It’s never been my favourite print but it’s growing on me and when done right, it can work really well.
I picked up this jumpsuit from New Look before my Paris trip and you have already seen it in my Pink Mamma post however I styled it quite differently this time around and wanted to show you a different way to wear it.
I always find the proportions right in New Look for jumpsuits and playsuits which is great as the price point is low and it’s always a challenge being petite and finding the right length and fit. Sometimes the crotch can be at my knees which is just not a good look, trust me. This one has a short sleeve, wrap over detail at the front plus a tie around the waist which helps get the fit right too.
The leopard print is a neutral tone and in keeping with the natural colours of the animal which would be my top tip if you’re going to participate in this trend. The further you steer from the natural colours of the animal whether it’s leopard or zebra, the more likely you are to cross the line between chic and garish. There’s also a higher chance of looking back in a few months or years time and wonder what you were thinking.
To complement the tones of the print, I’ve paired with black accessories such as a baker boy hat, ankle boots and a leather jacket over my shoulders. I don’t think you can go wrong with an elegant leather jacket around this time of year and I’ve had this one for such a long time yet it still looks current.
My pink bag with the gold hardware also works well with the tone of the outfit and adds a luxurious finish.
xo!
You look chic in the outfit. Your pictures are superb. I love your combination, hunny! xx
