It’s the start of my birthday weekend & I’m looking forward to spending time with my nearest & dearest. I don’t have any specific plans but I’ve bought a new dress anyway as why the hell not. It’s not a fancy or occasion dress but something I can wear if I head out for lunch or dinner with family and friends. I can dress up with my Gucci belt around the waist or a chain belt for a more glam look.
As I grow another year older, I feel I’m more comfortable than ever with my personal and signature style. I do still stick to classic shapes, tones and materials however I have experimented in the last year introducing so much more colour and textures to my capsule wardrobe. There has been a shift in terms of opting for designer pieces on occasion as opposed to sticking to fast high street fashion and selecting pieces that will stand the test of time instead of trend items that won’t last 5 minutes. This dress is an example of a high street piece that will stay relevant for a long time due to the classic tone, shape and style and I love picking up these little gems as they fill out my wardrobe without breaking the bank.
