Teddy Bomber Jacket

Good Morning,

In the blink of an eye we’re into December. The countdown to Christmas is well and truly on. We’ve got a very special occasion just before Christmas this year & I need to be extra organised as a result. I did most of my Christmas shopping in the Black Friday sales and now need to get everything wrapped up and make a definitive list of the final bits and bobs I need to get. I’ll most likely order anything else online as I don’t want to be trailing around the shops especially when they’re super busy, I simply don’t have the patience for it any more and much prefer to order online & receive lots of little packages in the post.

Anyway I mentioned in this post last week that I had purchased a teddy style bomber jacket however it’s fate was yet to be determined as I couldn’t think of many ways to wear. With a high volume of coats in this particular design albeit each is different in colour, shape and style, I was thinking of returning as at £50 it wasn’t exactly a bargain purchase that could be justified by only wearing a few times.

In the end I decided to keep it as a more casual style for this time of year. I can easily throw this on when I need to run a quick errand or to nip round to my friends house for a cuppa and a catch up. It’s super soft and cosy and I knew it would be perfect with an all black base which as you know, is one of my all time favourite go to looks.

There are many of these styles around at the moment at varying price points. For me, the quality is important and I was tempted by a lower priced one at New Look however having had a similar jacket from there previously I knew the quality wouldn’t be as good as the Zara one and that’s why I went for this one even though it was slightly higher.
