There’s a new Kensington in town & she is mighty fine. I’m talking about my new bag for those of you who are not familiar with the ‘Kensington’ range from Kurt Geiger with the signature eagle head detail. I snapped this one up on Black Friday this year when they had 20% off which felt too good to refuse. I originally planned to get the black mini with gold hardware but ended up changing my mind completely to opt for this one.
There’s no hiding my love for tweed, if you’ve been following along you’ll have seen it in many of my recent posts. The intricate weaving and texture are just two of the reasons I’m drawn to it. I really liked the colour blend of this particular style and I knew it would fit in perfectly with many existing pieces in my wardrobe. I was actually wearing this exact outfit combination when I tried it on in store and I was instantly sold although it doesn’t necessarily take much to convince me at the best of times. I’m a natural shopaholic however I’d say this is quite a bold addition to my collection. I’d generally opt for classic accessories for maximum versatility but I decided to shake it up and when wearing this bag, it becomes the focal point of the outfit.
