Animal print is still one of the biggest trends of this season however sometimes you might want to simply dip into a trend without going all in. Adding an accessory is an easy way to do it and helps keep that classy look. An all-over animal style outfit will quickly date when we move onto the next must have print or design however an accessory can hold it’s own a little longer. It also helps avoid feeling overwhelmed as there is a fine line between classy and trashy.
I received this beautiful little snake print bag as a gift from my friend and it’s the perfect size, shape and tone. It’s a bit of a Chloe dupe but in good taste and not a complete carbon copy. The gold chain is delicate and fine and the round shape of the bag is actually really practical as it fits way more than I expected. The clasp opening keeps everything secure and is subtle and sleek.
I’ve styled with a neutral palette in keeping with the tones of the bag. The jumper is the most dreamy shade of caramel and the sleeves are quite statement but not overpowering. The ribbed texture and high neck make it super warm and cosy and the perfect piece for the time of year and to see me through until Spring.
The checked skirt is another classic piece I’ve been wearing over and over again. The print is really understated and from a distance is simply looks like a deep khaki/grey block colour but up close you can see the detail and delicate pattern.
To compliment the overall outfit, I’ve added my LV boots. The colours work perfectly and I just love wearing them to be honest.
