When In Doubt

Good Morning,

We’re more than half way through January now which is always a relief. I find the beginning of a new year can sometimes be slow and quite heavy after the light, joy and constant company of the festive period. I’ve kept focused on the things I want or need to do and have already ticked a few things off which helps keep the momentum going.

Anyway, as January can be a tough month I like to keep it simple with my outfits. There’s nothing more simplistic than all black and it’s a firm favourite of mine. Whenever I’m in doubt about what to wear, it’s what I go for.

I’ve styled a turtle neck with a high waist pleated skirt for a fun and flirty take on an all black ensemble. My new black quilted bag adds an elegance with the sleek gold hardware and the panther detail on the front. It’s the ideal size for everyday wear and fits my camera too which is really handy.

Black suede boots add another texture and the gold zip detail blends in with the bag.
