Good Morning,
When I bought this bag whilst having breakfast in a cafe in Paris on 19th November 2017, I wasn’t sure I’d made the right choice. I don’t wear a lot of red and tend to avoid bold colours. I loved the smooth quilted leather and silver hardware though and decided it would be my statement bag. Since then I’ve used it more times than I can count and every time it becomes the focal point of the outfit.
A simple grey dress is the perfect base and the ruched waist detail is flattering and adds shape. The high neck gives coverage but the zip detail allows you to show a little skin if desired. The cuffed sleeves work really well and bring the sleeves back in avoiding any overhanging or additional material which could be overwhelming.
To make it warm enough for this time of year you can easily layer a thermal top underneath or simply a vest or long sleeve top to keep the body heat in. A jacket over the top would also help.
Being petite, I would normally stay clear of a dress this length however I think it works well with the boots, giving some much needed height. Being a classic style, they flatter almost any outfit and I can easily say they’re my most worn boots which is testament to the wearability.
