The days might be getting longer however there is still a sharp chill in the air and I’m nowhere near ready to pack away my chunky knits just yet. This one is probably one of the chunkiest I own and I ain’t complaining. I picked it up in the River Island sale for a bargain price of £15.
I couldn’t get an XS but I actually really like the oversized fit of the S and it means it’s very roomy for layers underneath or food babies. The high neck is my favourite part and the shade of blue is really lovely. The other tones are nice too with the grey, cream and camel and although still pretty neutral, it is more colourful than some of my other outfits of late.
I’ve styled with a skirt which I’m really enjoying wearing lately despite the low temperatures. With the thick cosy knit and layers underneath, I can keep warm enough whilst going from the car to wherever I’m headed. The skirt is one of my most worn ever, it’s so easy to style and is really flattering too which makes it one of those pieces I reach for time and time again. When you feel comfortable and confident in something it shows and that’s how I feel about this outfit overall.
