Good Morning,
As we move through the tricky period between the darkest depths of winter to the onset of Spring where one day it could be snowing and the next blissfully sunny and mild, it can be challenging to dress accordingly and keep our wardrobes aligned to the changing weather conditions. I like to keep my options fluid and mix in some lighter pieces now and again when the weather or occasion permits however I always have a chunky knit on hand for those days when you simply don’t want to leave the house but have no choice and therefore attempt to remain as cosy and comfy as possible.
In this post I’ll be sharing 4 outfits kindly gifted by Femme Luxe which are suitable for this in between stage and provide different options depending on what you’re doing or where you’re going.Outfit 1 – Trusty Jumpsuit
In my opinion, jumpsuits are a wardrobe essential and I love experimenting with different styles, shapes and patterns to create different looks and to mix it up now and again. They are such a versatile option, you can either wear simply as a jumpsuit or you can style them up maybe with a jumper over the top or a knitwear piece underneath depending on the design and look you’re going for.
This one is particularly flattering and is in a classic grey ribbed material which is not only really comfortable and forgiving but it’s so easy to style whether you want to dress it up with heels and a statement jacket or dress down with trainers for a more casual day. This is actually a great option for working from home which I do regularly. Instead of slobbing around in loungewear I should really wear something like this being comfortable but smart and also helps you feel put together which hopefully in turn will result in increased productivity. That’s just one example of how you could wear it but of course there are many options which make it a great addition to my wardrobe.
Outfit 2 – In Vogue
Most people love a slogan tee and I’m no different. This one being quintessentially ‘fashion’ is appealing and really easy to wear day to day. Although otherwise a basic style t-shirt, the slogan makes it a little bit more engaging and catches your eye. Styled with jeans is the obvious option and the way I’ll probably wear it most however I thought I’d go for something different to show it off in another way. I’ve paired with a high waist skirt which you’ll have seen many times already on this blog however it’s one of those pieces I can easily throw on knowing I’ll feel good but most importantly, confident too.
Outfit 3 – Off the Shoulder
You may have noticed I’m pretty much obsessed with neutrals at the moment and I’m swaying more and more towards tonal outfits. I don’t know if it’s the time of year or just the way my style is going but I’m much more into a neutral palette than I ever have been before. I’ve always enjoyed wearing nudes and creams but I’ve blended in more beige and even darker tones such as camel and tan which is new for me.
This off the shoulder knit is perfect for the in between Winter and Spring stage. The comfort and warmth of a knit combined with the off shoulder element allowing you to show some skin but not freeze completely while doing so. Paired with a skirt in keeping with the tonal vibe I’ve been going for and makes it wearable for the moment.

Outfit 4 – Jumper Dress
I’m having a bit of a moment with jumper dresses having added more to collection than any other style of dress in the last 6 months. They are really easy to wear, you don’t need to think too much, they are the outfit not just the base which makes a difference as you don’t have to think too much about what to pair with them.
I’ve gone for my statement snake print boots and matching bag with this one as the tones go really well and the boots help keep my legs warm too. They are so comfortable and the heel is slightly lower than I’d usually go for so it’s easy to keep them on all day even if walking around.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this post & the different outfit ideas shared.
xo!
