I’m back with yet another tweed outfit & this time it’s a pinafore as opposed to a playsuit which I’ve previously opted for. I have a soft spot for tweed and I love that each design and piece is different and has a unique look and feel. This one is no different and when I spotted it in store (my first time shopping in ages) I had to get it.
The colour drew my eye straight away, the beautiful red and white weave with the contrasting blue trim is stunning. The waist and pocket detail are also prominent features with the proportions being just right. The little gold buttons on the pockets give a nice finishing touch and add another texture against the material.
I’ve worn a turtle neck jumper underneath which is ideal for Spring. In summer I would simply wear a cami or even a bandeau top to contain my modesty with the deep V neck.
The bag was kindly gifted by Kurt Geiger and is the perfect option for day to day wear. The pale pink tone with the embellishment detail is gorgeous and I know I’ll get loads of wear out of it.
I’m keen to keep my Spring outfits light, bright and colourful without being garish or OTT. This look combines all of those elements and is a great addition to my ever expanding tweed collection.
xo!
