Good Morning,
This is a dress I’ve had for about a year but for some reason I hadn’t yet worn it. I got it in the latter part of the Zara sale and it was one of those treasure finds that don’t happen too often. I took it to Mexico last year and this year but it went from the suitcase to the wardrobe and back to the suitcase.
When the weather was really warm a few weeks ago I knew I had to get it out and give it a wear. It’s a beautiful dress, the shape and design is spot on, flattering in all the right places. The deep plunge is out of my comfort zone but it’s not overly exposing and my hair helps give some coverage too.
The broderie anglaise detail is stunning and every element is perfectly placed for maximum effect. The frills down to the waist create a lovely silhouette. The laser cut rim around.shows a little skin at the smallest part of the waist which is really nice. The skirt is full and voluminous and moves beautifully with you.
I’ve paired with my favourite bag of the moment, the pastel pink Kensington. It’s such a great bag for day to day wear or more formal occasions. The shoes are fairly new from Topshop and I couldn’t resist a little polka dot. Patterned shoes are not something I generally go for, I tend to stick to classics but these are a nice alternative.
xo!
