I’m back from Paris and well and truly back to reality. I’m off to see Ariana Grande tonight though which I’m really looking forward to.
Blue has and always will be one of my favourite colours. Whether it’s dark, rich navy tones or lighter pastel shades, I’m in.
This is probably one of the brightest blue pieces I’ve ever worn. The shade is so pure it’s stunning. I have the same dress in white but somehow it stands out more in blue. The frills and tie waist detail are more obvious and I’m not complaining.
I decided to add more blue with the accessories, as if the dress wasn’t holding it’s own enough. My velvet Kensington adds a contrasting tone and a clash of texture. The gold hardware and while toile cut through the richness. My Balenciaga trainers are mainly white but the blue accents help bend it all together. I added a little hair piece from ASOS which is Dior inspired with the j’adore slogan.
