I’ve got the camel coat out and I’m well and truly ready for Autumn. I’m so pleased with this one I picked up last year. It was something that was on my list for a while and I’m glad I waited until I found the right one rather than settling for something I wasn’t 100% sold on.
In my opinion, the best thing about Autumn styling is layering. I love it! It’s the perfect time to be creative, try different combinations and mix and match different pieces.
Sticking with a neutral theme, I’ve gone for a thin turtle neck knit and an animal print skirt underneath my camel coat. Turtle and polo necks are perfect this time of year and I’ve got loads in different colours, styles and thickness to see me through the season. They’re ideal for work or day to day and a real wardrobe staple.
Animal print is still in this season and my trusty zebra print skirt is great as it’s quite a thick, rigid material so while it’s a mini skirt, it’s still rather warm. The tones are easily matched making it a versatile piece.
I’ve added a black bag with gold hardware which works really well with the neutral palette. My Louis Vuitton trail boots make every outfit look better and I don’t think I’ll ever tire of wearing them.
