Animal print has become a wardrobe staple for me lately, incorporating different styles, colours & prints to my wardrobe and accessories. It’s still going strong this season and I added a new pair of booties in a beautiful neutral tone to my ever expanding collection.
I spotted them on the New Look website and immediately purchased despite not really ‘needing’ another pair of snake print boots. I feared they’d sell out if I left it a second longer so that’s my justification. They are a beautiful classic ankle boot shape with a slim stiletto style heel. This is my all time favourite style of boot and they are the most flattering fit. I’ve got many black pairs in suede, leather and mock croc but this is my first patterned pair.
Having gotten in to more neutral and tonal outfits lately, these boots are the perfect addition as they easily go with blacks, browns and camel tones.
I’ve paired with my camel coat on this occasion, thrown over the shoulder for an effortless look. A plain white tee is a must have and I’ve added a contrasting texture in the leather look pleated skirt. My taupe Shoreditch bag is an example of my move to a more tonal wardrobe and it works perfectly with the boots.
Are you still loving animal print or are you fed up with it now?
