I wasn’t lying when I said I’d be living in this cardigan until Spring. It’s the most worn item of my winter wardrobe thus far and it’s so easy to throw on and go.
What I like most about winter styling is layering and best of all when there is a clash of textures or contrasting prints. Smooth leather against textured tweed or cable knit against a vibrant print are just some examples.
A premium white tee is a great base to any outfit. This is such a worthwhile buy as it’s one of those pieces you wear over and over again and the value for money is incredible. Investing in a higher quality white tee is something you’ll never regret. It’ll see you through all seasons and likely all emotions too.
I’ve paired with a leather look pleated skirt which is a trend piece at an affordable price point. I’ve got this skirt in two other colour ways and it’s really versatile which is why I decided to go for the latest style as I know I’ll get the wear out of it.
My snake print boots add a bit of print as otherwise the look is very plain although there is nothing wrong with that. These are so sleek and the neutral tones go with everything.
My cardigan over the top not only keeps me nice and warm but it also adds that clash of texture and it stands out really well against the softness of the leather skirt.
