Beige Booties

Good Morning,

I pretty much live in boots from October through March. Whether I’m wearing a skirt, dress, trousers, a jumpsuit or a playsuit, I will typically pair them with a sleek pair of boots. I had a bit of a clear out at the beginning of the month and it was well overdue. I can be a bit of a hoarder when it comes to clothes and shoes and I managed to part ways with a number of pairs of boots that had seen better days. Some went to new homes, others went to shoe heaven but I felt so good for having cleansed my wardrobe and made space for new items.

Now I will confess, I have added at least 6 new pairs of boots to my collection in the last two months. 5 of them being the EDA range of boots from Topshop (with one pair received as a gift from my friend for my birthday) and the other pair are from Zara. When the EDA boots landed at Topshop I was immediately sold and purchased them in the 3 different colour ways. I received the navy snake print from my friend and then early December they released this beautiful, buttery shade of beige. I was almost annoyed that they brought out ANOTHER colour as I knew I couldn’t resist. My old faithful and all time favourite Topshop classic ankle boots also came in a soft caramel tone at the time and I always regretted not getting them. Now I don’t need to regret as I have these beauties to go with all my tonal and oatmeal style outfits which have become a bit of an obsession lately.

I picked up this jumper from H&M with a voucher I had and it’s a firm favourite. The high neck and chunky style knit is perfect for the time of year and and the tone is just right. It’s an ideal match for my Shoreditch bag and my new booties and I love this look overall.
