Good Morning,
The end of January is near and not only have I completely avoided the sales, I’ve managed to avoid purchasing any new clothes, bags or shoes. That is really good going for me and I’ll try to keep it up as much as possible.
I received some clothes for Christmas which are the only ‘newer’ items in my closet hence the title of this post. I’m delving deep into my wardrobe and trying to be a bit more inventive with my outfits overall. It’s so easy to wear the same combination of items time and time again but some subtle tweaks can make all the difference.
I’ve had this bag for a while although it had gotten a bit lost amongst the dozens of Kensington’s I’ve accumulated over the years. It’s a great all rounder as it’s a decent size and can easily fit my camera plus it has plenty of compartments which is another feature I love. The textured tweed really stands out and works well with the blended chain/leather strap.
The snake print boots are also a recent-ish addition. I mentioned in this post about buying all of the different colour combinations of the EDA range of Topshop boots. The are such great value for money and really elevate an outfit. I like that this pair are a cool grey tone as most animal prints are warmer and therefore don’t always work with greys and blues which are the most popular colours in my wardrobe.
xo!
