Anyone else tired of all the storms now? The flooding and constant travel disruption is getting a bit ridiculous. It also makes it impossible to create any content which is of course a first world problem. Thankfully I’ve got a bank of images ready for such occasions however I’m quickly burning through it. When the weather settles down, I’ll need to start building it back up again.
An LBD is a wardrobe staple regardless of the season, current trends and goings on. This one from H&M is definitely my all time favourite. The shape and crepe style material is so flattering, it’s one of those pieces I reach for time and time again as it always makes me feel good. I can leave it plain as there is enough detail with the ruched waist and layered frills or jazz it up with a belt and jewellery. My Gucci belt is ideal as its subtle and not too overwhelming. I’m so glad I got this one from the kids section as it fits my proportions better.
Silver hardware is my favourite combination with black. I love how stylish and classy it is. My YSL loulou is the perfect accompaniment and wearing as a clutch adds to the elegance of the overall look. The cross body strap being all leather can give more of a casual vibe however as a clutch, the bag transforms from day to evening.
My Barbican boots are stunning and the perfect contrast of sock style vs luxury. The ribbed material is figure hugging while the stiletto heel is sophisticated and sleek.
